Amy's story

I am a wife, a mother of twins, and school administrator. I consider myself an athletic late bloomer. I tip-toed into the waters of CrossFit in 2014, based on the recommendation of another teacher. When I first started CrossFit, I struggled with pull ups, thrusters, handstands, and push jerks. Fast forward two years later and I have improved in the movements I really struggled with. The cool thing is you can always get better and get stronger. The strength I have gained permeates every aspect of my life. I walk a little taller knowing what I have accomplished and what I have yet to conquer. The best part of my day starts when I step foot into 30A CrossFit.

While my job as a school administrator takes a majority of my days, in my free time you will find me coaching. I have absolutely come to love coaching. It has to be one of the most rewarding jobs. You are helping others better themselves. I am very enthusiastic about helping people improve their technique, get faster times, get stronger, and most of all, have fun doing it! I am driven to learn more and make YOU, and myself better.  Coaching gives me the opportunity to share my passion for CrossFit with others and help them find their inter athlete too. There is nothing more rewarding than coaching and seeing others reach goals they thought were impossible.

I love talking with people about my excitement for fitness and nutrition. My hope is that people will create lifelong healthy habits that enable them to live life to the fullest. I love educating others about how to create healthy lives inside and how to be strong on the outside. I have an genuine desire to make honest friends too. I love watching them reach their goals, whether that is physical, spiritual, or intellectual.
